Sony Might Offer A Reward To Help Catch Hackers
Still reeling from the effects that have left more than 100 Million accounts across its online services compromised, Sony is thinking about offering a reward to anyone who might have information that leads to the capture of the hackers behind the April 20 PSN attacks.
According to CNET, if Sony decides to offer a reward, it will work in cooperation with law enforcement agencies around the world, such as the FBI. Currently the company is mulling over its options and awaiting a final decision from senior Sony executives in Tokyo. If caught, these Sony hackers could face serious fines and jail time. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
