Is Nintendo's Next Console Called "Feel"?

You can't believe everything you read. With that in mind, a Swedish source is reporting that Nintendo's new console has a name. A stupid, stupid name.

The site Loading.se claims (as translated by NeoGAF user Majine here) that the next console from Nintendo is called "Feel," though this may just be another codename rather than an official moniker. The name apparently comes from the technology in the supposed touchscreen on the controller: "Haptic technology is a form of tactile feedback used to simulate the experience of touching different objects shown on screen. The player can move their fingertips across a surface and clearly feel the difference between soft, smooth or rugged textures."

It's open season on rumors for Nintendo's new system, and determining which ones to believe is a challenge. Hopefully, all speculation will be put to rest next month at E3.
