THQ Extends Warhammer 40K License
I hope you're a fan of Warhammer 40K games, because THQ is planning to keep putting a whole lot of them out on the shelves.
ShackNews reports that THQ has signed a multi-year extension to their deal to create games using the Warhammer 40K license. The deal includes new games using the popular Games Workshop setting that will appear on mobile devices, social platforms, and "core" platforms.
The upcoming Warhammer 40K games that we know about include the Gears of War-esque Space Marine, the MMO Dark Millennium Online, and the inevitable third iteration of the respected RTS series Dawn of War. Does that leave any room for a Warhammer game in a new or different genre that you'd like to see?
