The Jade Empire Sequel That Might Have Been
Was BioWare working on a second Jade Empire game?
One former BioWare employee seems willing to acknowledge that the game was at least in consideration at one point. Eurogamer tracked down a listing on Rafael Brown's LinkedIn profile, indicating that prior to his current position at id Software he worked at BioWare on a game called Jade Empire 2, which was supposedly set to release on 360, PS3, and PC. Brown claims he was working on the game in 2006 and 2007.
Unfortunately, no true information about Jade Empire 2 ever materialized. Whether the game died on the vine of pre-production, or if it is still in production in some form is unknown.
