Doctor Lautrec Puzzling Out His Future On 3DS

Konami announced its upcoming game Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights back in February, but now's your chance to see the game in action. Sort of. There's not much gameplay in the clip, but it does establish a tone that fans of a certain professor might find familiar.

The game is set in Paris in 1889, and it follows the adventures of the top-hatted doctor and his young assistant, Sophie. There are a few glimpses of some overworld-type navigation in the trailer, as well as a few puzzles. Check out the trailer below, and see for yourself. It's certainly not the first Professor Layton clone out of the gate, but it does have a monkey.
