New Mafia II Editions Arrive

by Matt Miller on Mar 30, 2011 at 08:01 AM

2K Games is making you an offer they hope you can't refuse. New low-price editions of Mafia II include the original game and DLC all on one disc.

Whether you play on PS3, Xbox 360, or PC, Mafia II could be headed to your platform of choice sometime soon thanks to new value-oriented editions of the excellent gangster drama game. Mafia II Greatest Hits (PS3) and Mafia II Platinum Hits (360) are available now at retail outlets for the price of $29.99. Mafia II Director's Cut (PC) will release at an undisclosed time in the next few months. The new version of the game includes the entire original game, but also all the downloadable content that has previously released for any version of the game.

What does all that DLC include? "The Betrayal of Jimmy" and "Jimmy's Vendetta" both offer new driving, shooting, assassination, and pursuit missions. "Joe's Adventures"  has players adopting the role of Joe Barbaro on a rampage through Empire Bay. The new editions also include four style packs, each of which come with two new cars and two new suits to use in the game. 2K Games claims that with the addition of all the DLC onto the disc, the size of Mafia II is nearly doubled.
