MLB.TV 2.0 Launches On PlayStation 3
With the new baseball season kicking off on Thursday, the MLB.TV PlayStation Network app is ready to take the mound.
MLB has developed several improvements to its popular game package for 2011, including improved HD streaming, enhanced audio that lets you choose between different network broadcasts for the same game, easy access to player stats, and a cool event timeline that allows you to watch every home run, strikeout, or stolen base that happens on any given day.
The base version of MLB.TV costs $99.95 and gives you HD streams of each game. If you want live game DVR controls, a multi-game view, and the home and away broadcasts, you can upgrade to the $119.99 premium plan. Both versions are available in the PlayStation Store today.
