European PS3s Set Free

by Matthew Kato on Mar 10, 2011 at 06:36 AM

Sony has been locked in an ongoing legal war with electronics maker LG over the Blu-ray technology in the PlayStation 3, and not long ago, this resulted in shipments of the system being seized in Europe. Now the blockage has been lifted,

According to Dutch site insidegamer.nl, Sony won a lifting of the prejudgement seizure order, which means that all PS3s held at the docks have to be released and LG has to pay a portion of Sony's legal fees related to the matter.

Of course, this doesn't mean the saga between the two companies is over. Who knows what the next round of the legal matter will bring.
