Mario Game Officially Coming To 3DS
During Satoru Iwata's GDC speech, Nintendo's president revealed what we all assumed was coming: There is a new 3DS Mario game being developed to take advantage of the handheld's unique features. Super Mario Galaxy's Tokyo development studio is tackling the project.
You can file this announcement under "Duh," but it's nice to have a confirmation nonetheless. The real question will be how Nintendo will incorporate the new technology into the gameplay, something the company has always been particularly good at. Iwata also stated that an official reveal of the game will come at this year's E3. While Iwata said that the logo above is only temporary, he did point out that it does appear to have a tail on it. Raccoon suit, anybody? We'll have to wait until E3 for more details, unfortunately.
