SOCOM 4 Online Co-op Detailed

Sony's PlayStation Blog has a video and details on the upcoming tactical shooter's cooperative play.

The two gametypes are Takedown and Espionage. Takedown is a "kill the targets" mode, while Espionage is more of a "grab the thing" situation. Either way, you'll work with other players and apply tactical thinking and special forces toys to the problems at hand.

SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals follows the franchise's tradition of realistic tactical infantry combat using modern weaponry and equipment while applying a shiny coat of HD gloss to the visuals. Today's reveal of online co-op is a great step forward for the series, even if we've been doing it in Rainbow Six for years.
