See How Jill Valentine Is Shaping Up In MvC3
Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds already has an impressive roster of playable characters, with 36 playable characters in the game. In the next few weeks, players will also be able to download two new fighters, Resident Evil's Jill Valentine and Dr. Strange enemy Shuma-Gorath. Both of those characters are at least partially contained on the game disc, and thanks to some clever players you can get at least a crude sense of what to expect.
As Shoryuken posted a few days ago, some people have been scouring the PlayStation 3 version to uncover playable versions of both Valentine and Shuma-Gorath. The preliminary result can be seen in the YouTube clip below. A few caveats: While Valentine is technically playable through a series of arcane steps, Capcom clearly hasn't finished work on the character. As Krisam Thyme, one of the folks responsible for the video says, her dialogue is missing, her moveset is unbalanced, and she needs a thick coat of polish. In short, she ain't done. Still the video does show Valentine in action, which is better than nothing.

Thyme adds that Shuma-Gorath is at a playable stage as well, and that videos of the tentacled beast will be coming over the next few days.
