The movie Battle: Los Angeles is coming in just a few weeks, which makes the revelation that a licensed game is in development all the more surprising. According to the Australian Classification Board, the country's equivilant to our ESRB, the game is being developed by Saber Interactive, the studio behind TimeShift, and will be published by Konami. GamerBytes tracked down the listing, which can be seen here. There's no word yet on what platforms the game will be available on or a release window.

Battle: Los Angeles stars Aaron Eckhart, Ne-Yo, and Michelle Rodriguez, and focuses on the military response to an alien invasion. It's set for a March 11 release in theaters nationwide. Check out the trailer below.
