Despite sub-par reviews, EA's reboot of the Medal of Honor franchise was a commercial success. The company recently announced that the game had sold over 5 million copies.

Today, Medal of Honor developer Danger Close (a part of EALA), posted a blog confirming what many already suspected: the studio is hard at work on a new Medal of Honor title. In a post titled "In Case You Were Wondering...," executive producer Greg Goodrich broke the good news: "Yes, Danger Close is working on the next Medal of Honor."

He also promised that the team has "studied, listened, and absorbed much of your feedback and are very excited to be marching forward on the next title." Let's hope this approach yields a better game next time around.

In his closing, Goodrich also thanked the many active servicemen and veterans that had written the studio with words of support, commenting, "Medal of Honor has always been fueled by the passion of our fans and the commitment and sacrifice shown by the men and women of our armed services."
