The Player Styles of Top Spin 4

Maybe you don't know your Roger Federer from your Andy Murray, but the latest Top Spin 4 developer diary is here to explain that at least you'll know the difference when playing the game.

In his new blog, Top Spin 4 gameplay designer Rémi Ercolani talks about the different styles of players in the game and how they all balance each other out so that no one style can absolutely dominate.

Ercolani goes over three broad archetypes in Top Spin 4: serve-and-volley players (Pete Sampras), offensive baseliners (Serena Williams), and baseline defenders (Andy Murray). Of course, every tennis player can't just be placed in a convenient style box, and that's where individual attributes come in. Players like Roger Federer are so well rounded that he defies easy categorization.
