Japanese Gamers Excited About NGP

Anticipation is difficult to quantify, but Japanese publication Famitsu surveyed its readers to get an idea of how pumped up they are about Sony's upcoming handheld. The answer? Pretty pumped.

Gamasutra is reporting that 76.2 percent of polled Famitsu readers said that they want the NGP. By contrast, only 7.9 percent of respondents said that they don't want it.

Of course, without a solid price point, these numbers don't automatically translate into gamers with the intent to buy. Sure, 76 percent may want the device, but will they be able to afford it if Sony decides to price the NGP at $350?
