WWE Online Canceled
THQ has re-evaluated its online plans, and WWE Smackdown vs. Raw Online has been bounced from the ring.
The company announced its financials yesterday, and along with the cancellation of Company of Heroes Online is the news that THQ is also closing down the online wrestling project. Because of the loss of these two free-to-play projects, THQ took a $9.9 million hit.
Despite this news, THQ reported that WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 shipped 2.7 million units and was one of its biggest sellers last quarter.
