Of all the publishers supporting Microsoft's Kinect, Ubisoft is among the most successful. We already know that the company wants to be the third-party leader for the device, and plans to release its major franchises would help strengthen its position.

In an interview with MCV, Ubisoft's chief marketing and sales officer Geoffrroy Sardin revealed plans to mine the company's successful properties (which includes Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell, and Ghost Recon) and put them on Kinect: “I think we can propose Kinect versions of all the brands that we’ve got, but it is down to the production team. I can’t announce anything, but we will have something for everyone, that I can assure you.”

This could be good news for Ubisoft fans who didn't get into Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. On the other hand, it could be bad news if the company releases shoddy titles that fail to do justice to its franchises.
