Finally: Ico To Be Available In Novel Form In North America
Who wants to play video games when you can read them instead? Lucky for us English majors in the audience, one of the most well-loved games of last generation will soon be available in novel form.
GameSetWatch reports that Japanese Ico novelization Ico: Castle of the Mist will finally becoming to North America this summer. Viz Media and Simon & Schuster will publish the English language translation on July 19.
Ico: Castle of the Mist was originally released in Japan in 2002, shortly after the game it's based on. Now it should hit America in time for the upcoming new Team Ico game, The Last Guardian. The book was written by much-loved Japanese author Miyuki Miyabe and is her personal interpretation of Ico's subtle story. As ridiculous as the concept sounds, maybe it's not so bad?
