I'm still not entirely convinced that DCU is dragging a sufficient endgame wagon to keep players paying $15/month over the medium term, but I have to tip my cap to Sony Online Entertainment for launching an honestly fun action/MMO when I had written this game off as doomed over a year ago. DCU has been successful enough to force SOE to increase server capacity to accommodate the influx of players, so I'm thinking that Mr. Cao probably isn't exactly crying himself to sleep at night just now.
