Call of Duty, Killzone, And Metal Gear Highlight Sony's NGP Game Announcements
Many of the NGP game announcements made during Sony's PlayStation Meeting were just that, announcements. Regardless, the names that were mentioned carry a ton of weight. Activision says a Call of Duty game is on the way, yet didn't provide any details as to whether it will be a new game built specifically for the NGP, or if it will be a port of an existing console game like Black Ops or the rumored Modern Warfare 3. Konami also teased Metal Gear with footage from Metal Gear Solid 4, but didn't officially announce the title for this handheld.
Other juggernaut franchises landing on the NGP are Resistance, LittleBigPlanet, Wipeout, Uncharted, and Killzone.
