Portal 2 Has User-Made Content For All
The PC version of Portal 2 is the only one that actually comes with creation tools, but PS3 and 360 users will get to enjoy the fruits of others' labor.
Valve's Chet Faliszek has confirmed that the content created with the mod tools will be available to all players, though the creation is limited to PC. "The mod tools have to stay on the PC side just because there’s a bunch of dependencies that require the Windows platform," said Faliszek. "But the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms."
So, in addition to a single-player and a co-op campaign, everyone gets access to mod content, too? Portal's April release date can't come soon enough.
