#1 WoW Guild: Cataclysm Raiding Hardest Ever

by Adam Biessener on Jan 20, 2011 at 11:50 AM

In a statement accompanying their world-first kill of Lady Sinestra earlier today, Finnish World of Warcraft guild Paragon called the first wave of Cataclysm raids "the hardest tier of raiding overall." Unfortunately, that's mostly due to bugs.

"Probably the biggest difference between this tier and the previous ones have been the various bugs and exploits, sadly enough," the statement reads.

During Paragon's attempts at Sinestra, the guild had to intentionally lose one fight when one of their death knights whacked the boss for over a billion damage with a single attack. This was obviously unintended, and Blizzard apparently hotfixed the exploit within an hour or two.

A tip of our hat to Paragon on their achievement, regardless. Blizzard, however, gets a wag of our finger for the buggy and often outright broken state that it released parts of Cataclysm in.
