Dead Or Alive: Dimensions Continues A Fighting Legacy

by Tim Turi on Jan 19, 2011 at 08:40 AM

Tecmo’s latest creation is a 3DS title called Dead Or Alive Dimensions. This cleverly titled (are they referring to bust measurements or 3D?) fighter features all the familiarity of the popular pugilistic action the series has become known for.

If you played Dead or Alive 4, you’ll immediately feel comfortable controlling old classics like Kasumi and Ryu Hayabusa. You’ll be able to pull off punches, kicks, counters, and throws to perform the combos you spent time honing in previous entries.

You can look forward to taking the action into old favorite modes like arcade and survival, as well as the brand new tag challenge and throwdown modes. A collection of 20 characters are available for your choosing, complete with old rivalries and new story content. Memorable stages from the series will be making a return too with full destructibility.

You can pick up Dead or Alive: Dimensions alongside the 3DS on its March 27 launch date.
