Enemy variety is a problem that virtually every FPS struggles with, but the developers at People Can Fly have come up with a novel solution. By using a standard enemy template and randomly applying a variety of additional characteristics, players can shoot down an entire army of different looking goons.

This blog post by People Can Fly's lead gameplay designer details the different aspects that can be changed, including skin color, body shape, tattoos, clothing, hairdos, and accessories.
