You know, this is not a story I expected to be writing when I woke up this morning. But that's why I love this big ol' crazy world of ours. Just when you thought reality TV couldn't get any zanier, Deadline Hollywood broke the news that Merv Griffin Entertainment and Namco Bandai have partnered to create a reality show based on the company's iconic Pac-Man brand.

I know what you're thinking: "Pac-Man? Reality? Pac-Man isn't even real, dude." I hear you, but check this out. It's going to be some big crazy stunt-competition show.

"[It's a] big, crazy Wipeout-type event with a lot of energy," said Merv Griffin's president of TV Roy Bank. "The idea we have is to take what Pac-Man is and bring it to life, to bring what is essentially the world's biggest game of tag to television."

Anyway, this sounds redonkulous and I will probably watch it.

[Note: the above picture is NOT a production still, it is a picture of some cheap Halloween costume. I felt this accurately reflected my feelings about this show. Just look at how happy she is!]
