Sega Will Celebrate Sonic's 20th With Worldwide Events
Has it been that long already? On June 23, 2011, Sega's speedy rodent will turn 20, and they're going to throw some parties all this year.
Sega will honor Sonic with a series of worldwide events, several of which I hope feature live reenactments of dramatic scenes from the series. Perhaps a heart-wrenching scene within the watery confines of Labyrinth Zone in which Sonic contemplates his life, then drowns? Also, we'd like the actors play up the unhealthy obsession Dr. Robotnik has with baby animals. At any rate, we'll be learning more details about the specific events throughout the year.
It's been previously announced that Sega will also be unleashing some mysterious new projects in tandem. Our guess is that they'll be announced at these events.
