If you've seen the documentary King of Kong, you're familiar with the name Steve Wiebe. The classic gaming expert still holds the current Donkey Kong world record, but he's hoping to put Billy Mitchell even further behind by attempting to beat his own score of 1,064,500 points.

The attempt is going down at Logan Hardware in Chicago on January 15th. You can stop by to watch Wiebe in action, and if you're really into Donkey Kong, you can attend a Wiebe-taught class on how to play the arcade classic.

Space for the event is limited, so check out the Logan Hardware site if you're interested in attending.
