Kaz Hirai Hints At PlayStation Phone, Tablet...Or Does He?

Many expected Sony to announce the long-rumored gaming phone at CES. While Sony Computer Entertainment president and CEO Kaz Hirai failed to deliver the anticipated reveal, he certainly didn't deny its existence, either.

In an typical executive monologue filled with ear-bending corporate speak, Hirai teased the existence of the gaming phone, saying that Sony's "strategy encompasses driving the development of a variety of new strategic products and services including tablets currently in development, as well as smartphones, all the while of course integrating the knowhow and the assets that we've accumulated from our PlaySation business."

A strategy of driving strategic products? That's some strategy!
