Game Dev Story Developer Releases Adorable New Game
If you're one of the countless gamers who is hopelessly addicted to the iPhone/Android hit Game Dev Story, brace yourself: Developer Kairosoft has released a new title in Japan that may eventually find its way to western audiences.
The new game is called Wai Wai! Game Shop, and tasks players with running their own video game retail store, as opposed to developing their own games. There's no word of whether or not the new title will eventually see an English port, but Touch Arcade is reporting that due to the warm reception Game Dev Story has received, Kairosoft is already planning to eventually release an English version of Game Dev Story 2 on iOS, so ports of other titles aren't out of the question. A quick perusal of Kairosoft's website reveals has plenty of titles the company can choose from, but we're hoping Wai Wai! Game Shop is at the top of the list, if only for the fact that we would finally have a chance to prove that a ninja-themed puzzle game can actually sell well.
