Xenogears, Vagrant Story, And Other PS1 Classics Coming To PSN
Previously we had reported that Square's cult classic PS1 RPG Vagrant Story seemed poised for re-release on the PlayStation Network because of its appearance on the service in Japan and Europe. Now we have even more evidence pointing to that game and a handful of other new PS1 titles arriving on PSN this year.
IGN reports on a new batch of ESRB ratings for PS1 games set to appear on Sony's PlayStation Network service. Square has the majority of the titles, with Vagrant Story, Xenogears, Threads of Fate, and Legend of Mana all represented. The list of upcoming titles also includes Arc the Lad III and Ridge Racer Type 4.
It's important to note that neither Square, Sony, nor any other publisher have confirmed these releases, but ESRB ratings have generally proved to be a reliable source of information for what's coming. We'll update if we get confirmation on any of these releases along with information on when they'll be available.
