[UPDATE] Bonus Bad Company 2 Map Now Unlocked
UPDATE: PC players may have been the only group to reach the required 69 million team actions to unlock the map, but DICE has decided to unlock the new battlefield for all platforms in order to "start this new year with as big of a bang as we ended it." Enjoy!
ORIGINAL STORY: We knew that the upcoming Vietnam expansion for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 would ship with four maps, but it seems as though EA and DICE have been holding out on us. A fifth map, Operation Hastings from Battlefield: Vietnam, will be included in the package, though with a tantalizing catch. To access the additional content, Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 players will have to perform a combined total of 69 million team actions. It's a move that will be familiar to players who worked to unlock Battlefield 1943's Coral Sea map and Air Superiority modes. And while 69 million seems like a huge (and completely arbitrary) number, we'd be surprised if it took longer than a week before we're playing this sucker.
