Assessing PlayStation Plus

by Matthew Kato on Dec 27, 2010 at 12:00 PM

On the face of it, Sony's PlayStation Plus program seems like a win-win situation. For $50 a year gamers get content like downloadable titles, early access to games' betas, PS store discounts, and more – while still getting free multiplayer on the PS3. Sony, meanwhile, gets to make money from its fanbase via a subscription fee a la Xbox Live.

But in your mind is PlayStation Plus worth the money?

For any and all of you out there who've paid for the service, we want to know what you think about it so far.

  1. Is it worth the money? If so, what features or items have made it worth while for you? If not, what would your suggested price be?
  2. Are there any items or features you want to see from the service in the future?
  3. Do you plan on renewing your subscription?
