Microsoft Boosting Kinect Accuracy?

The online rumor mill suspects that Microsoft hopes to quadruple the accuracy of Kinect to enable detection of individual finger movement and hand rotation.

According to Eurogamer, a source within Microsoft says that the Kinect team is working to optimize the compression technology for a firmware upgrade that would allow more data to pass through the two cameras.
