A few years ago, Infinity Blade developer Chair Entertainment signed up with author Orson Scott Card to make a video game out of Card's Ender's Game novel. Now that plan is quashed.

Chair's Donald Mustard says that parent company Epic is behind the cancellation. "We have and had an amazing design for the Ender's Game game," said Mustard. However, "one of Epic's primary objectives is to create original and unique franchises. I don't know that Ender's Game fits into that strategic objective anymore."

Chair and Card have already collaborated on Shadow Complex, which was based on Card'd Empire series.
