This won't come as a surprise to anyone, but Square Enix is once again milking the Final Fantasy name with another re-release. This time the company is including Final Fantasy IV with the episodic WiiWare sequel, The After Years.
Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection will be a PSP title, and have revamped visuals and a new sequence connecting the events of Final Fantasy IV to The After Years. So, even fans who've played the whole thing will find something new.
The game is coming to Japan this spring, but no North American release date has been announced. I'm hopeful that it comes over, though; even though I'm a little tired of Final Fantasy re-releases, I'm always looking for a new excuse to replay Final Fantasy IV.
