Gran Turismo 5 Surpasses 5.5 Million In Worldwide Sales
Yes, as of December 6, Sony says that sales of Gran Turismo 5 are well on the way to six million worldwide. But how do these numbers compare to other titles in the blockbuster series?
Sony says that the entire Gran Turismo series sales tally has made it past 60 million units sold since it began nearly 13 years ago. The company has also provided the following chart to show off how the various entries compare to each other:
While 5.5 million sold is obviously a great haul, Gran Turismo 5 needs to double that over its lifetime if it wants to catch up to the past major numbered entries in the franchise. Who picked up GT 5? What do you think of it so far?
