As much as I love the current state of video games, I often find myself wanting to play classic adventure games like King's Quest, Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist, and the great series most people overlooked, Police Quest. Most of the Game Informer staff are huge adventure game fans, yet most of them have not played any of the Police Quest games. In an attempt to illustrate why they should go back and invest time into this series, I foolishly played this Police Quest 3 video...
As you can see, if you don't follow police protocols, the game can be hilarious for all the wrong reasons. The point of this series is to teach players how to be police officers. If you don't do everything by the book, bad things happen. Although much of the text is skipped in this video, make sure you take the time to read the Game Over text at the end of the video to see just how sensitive this particular police officer is toward coma patients.
