Fifteen days. That's how much time you'll have left to play Stargate: Resistance after we ring in the new year. Starting January 15, 2011, the online shooter will shutter its wormholes.

Announcement of the servers' discontinuation follows the expiration of an agreement between Stargate license holders MGM and developer Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment. Coinciding with the discontinuation of the game's online capabilities, Stargate: Resistance will also no longer be available for sale.

The short-lived 3rd person shooter released last February, after which Cheyenne filed for bankruptcy.
