A long time has passed since the 2006 release of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. After all those years, isn't it about time we heard something about the next entry in the series? If the rumors are to be believed, the first details are starting to trickle out.

According to a report from Eurogamer, a source confirmed that Elder Scrolls V is in development at Bethesda. Furthermore, the title will be the chronological successor to Oblivion, taking place after the events of that game.

Those scant details – which you probably could have guessed for yourself – are the only concrete information the source relayed. It may not be surprising, but any news about Elder Scrolls V is good news.
