[Update] Pinball FX 2 Tournament Is Live
Pinball FX 2 has become a bit of an obsession in our offices, fueling a lot of unnecessary and often hurtful trash talking and poor sportsmanship. In other words, some of the other guys are mopping the floor with my scores. Well, something is coming tomorrow that may offer a chance for redemption.
The tournaments section of the game has been inactive since the game launched in late October on Xbox Live, but that's about to change. Clicking on the option now brings up the message "No tournament is running at this moment. A new tournament will be announced tomorrow." Sounds good. I wonder what it could possibly be. Oh, wait. Behind that text box is the following: "Secrets of the Deep Tournament Friends 11/22/2010-12/07/2010."
I suspect this announcement will be that a two-week-long tournament on the Secrets of the Deep table is coming, with scores being compared between the players on your friends list. Yes, I am the world's greatest detective.
[Update 11/22] Well, what do you know? It's live. Now it's time to humiliate your pinball rivals. I'm coming for you, Marchiafava.
