At the Morgan Stanley TMT conference this week in Barcelona, Spain, the Financial Times reports Vivendi CEO Jean-Bernard Levy said Activision has "got over" the bloodletting at Infinity Ward and fully rebuilt the Call of Duty studio. "We have reconstructed Infinity Ward, [and] we are very happy with the way we have been able to reconstruct it," Levy said. Vivendi owns controlling interest in Activision-Blizzard.

Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella, plus most of the project leads left the company after a reported dispute with Activision executives. You can read the recap of events here. The 35 former Infinity Ward employees subsequently formed Respawn Entertainment and signed a publishing deal with EA Partners. Rather than closing or rebranding the studio after the mass exodus, Activision chose to restaff and keep on trucking. According to the legal documents filed in the litigation riddled fallout, Infinity Ward is still hard at work making Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Here's hoping there's still some magic left at the studio.
