Tony Hawk Shred Fails Miserably At Retail

by Dan Ryckert on Nov 17, 2010 at 05:39 AM

Back in the early 2000s, fans greeted new Tony Hawk releases with huge numbers of pre-orders and first-day sales. Fast forward to 2010, and Tony Hawk Shred has launched with numbers that would be miserable for any title, much less one with such a recognizable brand name. Over its first week, Shred only managed to move 3,000 units across all three consoles.

Even considering how terrible Tony Hawk Ride was, these are amazingly low numbers. Maybe it's time to let that stupid skateboard peripheral die before it embarrasses itself any further.
