Is Spider-Man Pinball On The Way?

Pinball FX 2 creator Zen Studios posted this intriguing picture on its Facebook page this morning. But what does it mean? We share our speculation after the jump.

Not too long ago, the Australia ratings board posted an entry for a multiplatform computer game called Marvel Pinball, naming Zen Studios as the publisher. There has been no official word from Zen Studios or Marvel on the matter, but this picture certainly suggests that everyone's favorite web-slinger will somehow be incorporated in the project.

Zen Studios currently has two pinball games on the market: Zen Pinball, which released on the PlayStation 3 in May 2009, and the supremely awesome Pinball FX 2, which came out on Xbox 360 at the end of last month.

Both games allow for players to download new tables into their collection, so it's possible Marvel Pinball could end up on either platform, or be something entirely new. All we know is that if it turns out anything like Zen Studios' other offerings, we can't wait to play it.
