A suburb in Zaragoza, Spain has unveiled its first video game themed street: Avenida de Super Mario Bros. The Spanish neighborhood, Arcosur, is the first in the world to name streets after our favorite games.
Other planned names include Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Invaders, and The Legend of Zelda. The government-sponsored project includes building more than 21,000 homes for people ages 20 to 35 (first-time home buyers). Musical composers and Spanish monuments will be used for street names as well.
Construction began last year and residents hope building will conclude in summer 2012. Which street would you want to live on?
