UPDATE: New Metal Gear Solid 4 Box Hints At Trophies?

UPDATE: Konami has officially responded, claiming that MGS4's current trophy-less state is being "resolved."

"MGS4 has no trophy support and the issue is in process of being resolved," said Jay Boor, Konami representative.

This doesn't exactly confirm the existence of trophies in the Greatest Hits edition of the game, but it proves that Konami is working on a fix.

ORIGINAL STORY: Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriot's Greatest Hits edition appears to be getting more than a price reduction - it may also include long-desired trophies for the popular game.

PlayStation LifeStyle recently released the following image of the box art, which implies that this will be a new edition which incorporates trophies. If this ends up being true, will Konami also release a patch which updates the trophies for PS3 users who already own MGS4?
