Kinect Cases Categorize Games Based On Activity Level

by Dan Ryckert on Nov 03, 2010 at 12:08 PM

After a long day of playing Kinect, we're pretty sure Bryan felt like he got a decent workout in. Turns out that he would have known exactly how vigorous his gaming session would be if he took a look at the back of the game cases. We glanced at the back of a few retail copies and found a new category next to the ones we've seen for years.

As you'll see below, the "Activity Level" info box lets you know just how much motion your game involves. Kinect Sports is listed as "Active," while Kinect Joy Ride is listed as "Standing-Active." Can't imagine a blurb like that influencing a purchasing decision, but it's there if you're interested.
