EA And Facebook Enter 5-Year Partnership
EA continues to fortify its position in the casual market by entering into a new five-year “strategic relationship” with Facebook. Facebook credits will become the official form of payment for all EA games on the social network per the agreement.
EA already has successful titles such as Pet Society and Restaurant City in the Facebook marketplace via the Playfish brand it acquired last year, and have plans to integrate Pogo Games and Monopoly into the platform in the near future.
