Faery: Legends of Avalon Gets Release Date
This new role-playing game is coming to XBLA and PSN in just a few weeks.
No one knows much about Faery: Legends of Avalon, as the game has been pretty quiet throughout development at French developer Focus Home Interactive. We only heard about the game ourselves last month. Even so, the high fantasy setting and lush visuals have caught our eye, so we were excited to see that the game will be releasing so soon. Faery will be out on XBLA on November 10, following up on PlayStation Network sometime in December.
Faery: Legends of Avalon is a 10-15 hour RPG (according to the developer) where players choose between the roles of an elf or fairy as each seeks to uncover the reason why their magic world of Avalon is dying. As the game progresses, you'll be able to power up your hero's abilities and equipment in the classic RPG style. You'll also choose a companion character, including several fantastical creatures like a dragon or troll.
We don't know what to make of this unusual game, but the few screens we've seen make us anxious to learn more. Any interest on your end?
