Splatterhouse Goes Gold, Will Turn Your TV Red

Namco-Bandai announced today that Splatterhouse, the new gory title inspired by the 1988 arcade game, has gone gold. That means the developer has finished the game, and everything is looking good for the countdown to release.

Splatterhouse is all about Rick, a man who dons the powerful Terror Mask to help rescue his girlfriend from the evil Dr. West. On the way to reclaiming his love Rick will dismember, tear, and smash his opponents. He'll also have Necrotic energy attacks and Berserker mode at his disposal for killing foes.

You'll be able to pick up the blood-soaked, 2x4-wieldin' action on November 23 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
