Nail’d Gets Budget Price Point, Release Date Locked In

Deep Silver has released a couple of chunks of info on its upcoming off-road racer, Nail'd. First off, the game will be hitting North American shelves on November 30. And while the game's arcade action includes plenty of scrapes, bruises, and bumps, the publisher says the game's price point won't put a huge dent in anyone's wallets. The game will be available for $49.99 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and $39.99 for the PC version.

"The racing genre is overflowing with same-old car-based games this holiday season. Nail'd delivers an arcade racing experience that brings back the fun and purity of going as fast as possible on tracks that couldn't be ridden on in real-life. It's great that there are realistic racing games out there, but with Nail'd, we want to get back to the roots of what makes racing fun: speed, enormous jumps and insane tracks," said Deep Silver senior producer Jon Schutts.

Racers will tear through landmarks such as Yosemite National Park and the Andes Mountains, facing natural hazards and slightly more exotic dangers, such as day-ruining saw blades, plummeting aircraft, and the ever popular crashing boulders.
